Founder and CEO of Finhaven Group, Dohyung (DH) Kim is an entrepreneur and investment banker. He is the recipient of CEO Monthly's 2020 Global Capital Markets CEO of the Year award, and a member of the British Columbia Securities Commission's Fintech Advisory Forum. As CEO of Finhaven, DH serves to innovate the global capital markets through the technology platforms he builds with his teams across Canada, Korea, and Ukraine. Starting his career at Merrill Lynch in NYC, DH transacted multiple deals at Kim & Company and Dongwon Resource Group. He is a founder of NMC Resource Corporation where he explored, built, and operated molybdenum mines in Canada and Korea. He holds a master's degree in International Finance and Business from Columbia University in the City of New York, and has lectured at both Columbia University and Korea University. Over his career, DH has acquired unique insights into the inefficiencies in the global capital markets. These insights have inspired him to leverage technology to make capital markets more simple and secure.
He has spoken on the subject at international economic conferences and summits in locations such as New York, London, Seoul, Tel Aviv, and Zurich.

He was the Managing Director of KTB Private Equity.

Jason has been developing software and helping companies grow for over 25 years. He was a key member of the development team at abebooks.com, a global online book publisher. He also helped shepherd Pacific Blue Cross (PBC) through an enterprise-wide modernization project. Mr. Burrows has assisted companies obtain approval in strict regulatory jurisdictions – such as Class II Gaming in the United States – and maintain ongoing compliance. His applied experience includes hands-on development, architecture, data compliance and security (as CISO at PBC), and more.

With over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, Mike brings extensive expertise as the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) at Finhaven Capital. His background spans both traditional and alternative investment sectors. Prior to joining Finhaven, Mike served as the CCO of an Exempt Market Dealer, where he successfully managed capital raising initiatives for one of Canada's largest private lenders. Before that, he spent a decade working in sales and compliance roles for various alternative lending institutions. Mike's comprehensive understanding of compliance regulations and his hands-on experience in the financial industry make him an invaluable asset to the team at Finhaven Capital.

With a wealth of regulatory expertise in banking and financial services, Sandy is a valuable addition to the team. From 2007 to early 2016, Sandy served as the Director of Capital Markets Regulation at the BC Securities Commission, where they played a crucial role in overseeing regulatory compliance. Later, at HSBC Bank Canada, Sandy held a unique position focused on managing conduct risk, making them the sole individual in a Canadian bank with such a role at that time. Sandy's extensive experience in regulatory affairs and their deep understanding of the banking industry make them an invaluable asset to the team, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and mitigating risk effectively.
Praveen Varshney
Praveen has been a principal of Varshney Capital Corp., a Vancouver based merchant banking, venture capital and corporate advisory services firm since 1991. He's also a Founding Director of Pyfera Growth Capital & a Founding Director of Humanitas Smart Planet Fund, both with a social impact focus. Mr. Varshney obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1987 and is a FCPA, FCA.

Prior to founding Korea Standard Appraisal Company, he held a notable position as a managing partner at Kyungil Appraisal Co.
Martin Ertl
Martin is an entrepreneur and a lawyer by background. He is the founder and CEO of Recital Software. He was formerly General Manager of Coupa Contracts, after Coupa (COUP:NASDAQ) acquired Contractually, where he was the founder and CEO. Prior to that, he co-founded Navarik where he negotiated strategic customer deals with the world's largest energy companies. He started his career as a lawyer at DLA Piper. In addition to experience in raising financing for his businesses, he has also invested actively in companies in the non-reporting issuer market.
Jane Shin
Jane (she/her) is currently Vice President of Students and Community Development at Vancouver Community College. From 2013 to 2017, Jane represented the electoral constituency of Burnaby-Lougheed in the 40th Parliament of British Columbia as MLA, becoming the first Canadian of Korean descent in Canada to be elected to a Provincial Legislative Assembly. Jane was named one of Canada's Top 25 Immigrants in 2019 by the Canadian Immigrant Magazine and Royal Bank of Canada’s national people's choice award, and also received the B.C. Achievement Community Award in 2021 from the Offices of the Premier and Lieutenant Governor of B.C.

Lars is a venture capitalist. He is an ex-Managing Director of InMotion Ventures and Jaguar Land Rover’s Venture Studio. He has 20+ years of corporate executive experience. He is a former director of the Ethereum Foundation and previously held the position of Head of Bespoke at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. He has a known track record of helping to align business functions with technology through product and business process development and is also a successful angel investor with entrepreneurial leadership in technology for startups.

Hansoo is a seasoned professional with expertise in capital markets, business strategy, and the entertainment industry. As the founder and CEO of Kairos Invitation LLC, he provides advisory services and investments in the entertainment and commerce sectors. Hansoo has held key leadership roles, including Head of Global Business Strategy for Entertainment and Digital Media at CJ Group, Head of Strategy & Business Development at SBS Media Holdings, and Head of M&A, TMT at Shinhan Investment Securities. He holds a master's degree in International Economic Policy from Columbia University in the City of New York.

Jinyoung is a certified public accountant (CPA) in Korea and an experienced investment banker specializing in real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources. He began his career at PwC, where he gained valuable expertise in auditing and financial advisory services. Jinyoung then transitioned to Macquarie, where he focused on investing in infrastructure projects. Later, he served as the Global Financial Manager at Hyundai Motors Securities, contributing his financial acumen to the overseas real estate industry. Jinyoung holds an MBA degree from the University of Washington, further enhancing his knowledge and skills in the field of finance and business administration.
James Delorme
James Delorme is an Indigenous Digital and Social Disrupter. With the guiding principles of Indigenous knowledge and the foundations of cultural safety and humility, James uses his leadership skills to serve First Nation communities, government and the private sector with economic and social projects alike. As former Chief of the Klahoose First Nation he had the privilege of heralding housing, technology, eco-tourism, green energy, aquaculture and forestry projects serving the social and economic needs of the Klahoose. In his current role as CEO of technology and research company Indigelink Digital Inc and VP of Community Development at Salish Elements, he remains steadfast working on passion projects with clean energy, internet connectivity, data governance. In addition is a proponent and advisor of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain self-sovereign Identity and IM / IT projects.
